Law Journal Library catalog records are now available in either AACR2 or ANR (Aggregator-Neutral) format. For more information on the difference between the two formats, check out our side-by-side comparison of a record in both formats. Law Journal Library consists of the journals in each of the following collections: Criminal Justice, American Bar Association, Intellectual Property, U.S. Core/Most Cited and International (all available separately). Monthly Update Service provides added records, delete notices, and any changes made by the publisher.

Fixed fields are correct for electronic resources.

 

Variable-Length Fields

Processing the file using MARCedit's MARC Validator discovered problems with incorrect indicators, improper subfield coding, and other issues with 19 records. These have been reported to the vendor.  Vendor reports records will be corrected and records reissued.   

Source of description notes, e.g. Description based on...  are in a Field 500 rather than the newer  field 588.   

 

Subject Headings/Classification 

Library of Congress Subject headings are used.

Some incorrect subject headings indicators were found and reported to the vendor for correction.
